In the Netherlands Antilles mainly the following legal entities are being used when doing business:
-The Limited Liability Company (in Dutch: Naamloze Vennootschap or N.V.)
-The Private Company with limited liability or Closed Company (in Dutch: Besloten Vennootschap or B.V.")
-The Foundation
-The Private Foundation (in Dutch: Stichting Particulier Fonds or S.P.F.)
-The Limited Partnership (in Dutch: Commanditaire Vennootschap or C.V.)
Netherlands Antilles legal entities, which are wholly owned by non-residents of the Netherlands Antilles, are (generally) managed by licensed Netherlands Antilles fiduciary institutions providing fiduciary and/or financial services, commonly known as “trust companies".
